Asics 10k London Run

On Sunday 1 July I will be doing the Asics 10K British London Run to raise money for Link Community Development a charity that works with schools and their communities in the most impoverished areas of Uganda, Ghana and South Africa to give training in how to develop effective education systems and also to give grants to schools.

Last year Kenyan Patrick Makou won the 10K in a time of 29 minutes 52 seconds so I'm gunning for that but my task will be made more difficult by the fact that I'm running in my figure hugging rugby kit (there is the slight possibility of being arrested for indecency), with my sevens team, the 7 Sons of Serevi, passing a rugby ball the whole way (no forward passes allowed either). Every time one of us drops the ball we all have to hit the deck and do 10 press ups and if you've ever seen my team play you will know that will be quite often...

Please visit our our team Just Giving page and if any of you would like to sponsor me it would be much appreciated.
