Match Report

Our first away trip and second piece of 'silverware'. We entered this tournament not knowing how we get on on the international arena and came back pleasantly surprised. It was also the first fundraising event for the 7 Sons of Serevi since their reformation raising just under £1,000 split between Link Community Development and Whizz-Kidz charities. We played the tournament with only 8 players, one of which injured before we got there. The team won every game until the final when we ran into an army team with a squad of very good and very numerous pacific islanders. After an excellent tournament on the playing front, including beating an international side, we headed to the Oktoberfest to soak in some culture.
